We received an exceptionally large number of submissions to our Hope on Screen competition, and awarded nearly $10,000 in prizes for short films that explore the role of hope in our lives by creatively engaging questions like:

• What do you hope for?
• Why is hope important? For individuals? For society?
• Is hope always a good thing? Is hope ever irrational? Harmful?
